Hi, I'm Krista.  Nice to meet you!  I'm the one behind our blog most of the time.  This is a creative outlet for me to share encouragement, fun stories, and how the Lord is working in our lives.

My husband and I met in August 2012 in Plano, TX.  We got married a year and a week later at our church in Plano.  We are one of those eHarmony stories like you used to see on tv.  Of course now no one watches tv.  If you are anything like us, it's all Netflix and Discovery+.  I'm a homemaker, homeschool mom, and of course a boy mom.  My husband works in marketing and works from home, so he is able to be very invovled in the lives of us all.

In September 2013 we found out that we were expecting.  Sadly, I had a miscarriage about a month later.  We learned later that our baby was a girl.  Later, in May 2014 we found out we were expecting our first boy.  Mr. B was born in 2015, then Mr. N was born in 2016.  Finally our little exclaimation point, Mr. J was born in 2019.  The last member of our family is our sweet and very hyper dog Murphy.  He was born in August 2020.  Yes, that is correct.  I am the only female among a house full of males.  I love being a boy mom!

Our lives stay busy between school pick ups and drop offs, as well as the homeschooling, and trying to keep our home in order.  Currently, Mr. B is sitting in front of me doing a math lesson while Mr. J is in the other room watching one of his favorite shows.  I have a somewhat quiet moment to myself (sort of).  It's tough some days and other days I feel like I'm on top of the world and should win the Legit Mom of the Year award.  Even through the quiet followed by chaos, I wouldn't have it any other way!
