When we found out we were expecting our second child, I knew I needed to come up with some different "hacks" to make things easier. A good friend of mine already had 2 kids and she shared an idea with me that I used for our family once our second and third child was born.
When Mr. B was born, we just started buying him things that were blue. When he was old enough to have a water bottle, we bought him a blue camelbak water bottle. When Mr. N joined our family, we decided that he needed his own color. So we picked the color green for him. Anything that we had to buy 2 of, we bought in blue for Mr. B & green for Mr. N. We did that with everything....water bottles, plates, nap mats, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc. It made it easier to tell whose was whose. When Mr. J was born, we gave him the color red. It's a very fitting color being that he has red hair. So, when I am looking for something for each boy, I determine if I am going to purchase it by looking to see if I can get it in their colors. It's easier to get the same thing to avoid fighting.
This brings my to my favorite water bottle that we have had. That have withstood quite a bit of shenanigans. The Koodee Water Bottle comes in different sizes and different colors. You can also get different types of tops as well. I prefer the screw top lid with a drinking spout. They also sell a lid that has a straw. Each lid also has a carrying handle. These water bottles are Stainless Steel Double Wall Vacuum Insulated and come in 12oz, 16oz, 18oz, 22oz, and 32oz. We have been super pleased with them and we have even ordered multiples for each child.
